Roughly a week ago we’ve reported that both the price tag and exact release date of the Asus Transformer Pad 300 in the US have finally been officially announced and as you may already be aware of, Asus held up to their word and released the Pad 300 on April 22 (online).
Asus Transformer Pad 300 UK Release Date and Price
With the US release cleared out of the way, Asus made another announcement concerning the availability and price tag of the Transformer Pad 300 in the UK, but unfortunately they haven’t managed to share an exact date on when the tablet will hit the market. Join us after the break for more.
As it turns out, the Asus Transformer Pad 300, also known as TF300, will hit the UK market exclusively through the Dixons group of retailers and will be available for purchase online starting “early May”. However, you won’t be able to actually see the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 on shelves in any stores until towards the mid/end of May.
Although the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 will be sold in UK exclusively by Dixons, the tablet is expected to hit other retailers “late June”, and in case you’re interested in other flavors of the Transformer Pad 300 other than the initial Royal Blue, the Iceberg White variant will hit the market in June followed by the Torch Red flavor in July.
As far as pricing goes, the Transformer Pad TF300 including the keyboard dock will have a price tag of £399 (roughly $643).
If you’re considering buying the TF300 once it hits the UK market, don’t forget to check out our quick overview of the Asus Transformer Pad 300 and decide whether or not it’s worth your money, or if you should wait a bit longer for the Transformer Infinity 700 Series.
