BlackBerry Q10 – Release Date Getting Closer and Closer
In various parts if the world, BlackBerry has already launched its newest BlackBerry 10 smartphone, the touchscreen featuring Z10, but some of BlackBerry’s enthusiasts prefer the feel of a QWERTY-keyboard packing device and are still waiting for Q10’s release date, the company’s first physical keyboard boasting smartphone running on the BB10 OS.
We’ve kept a close eye the BlackBerry Q10 release date and while some of you will be getting the device in a matter of several weeks, others will have to wait longer before they can score one. Join us after the break where we’ll make a quick recap on what we know regarding the BlackBerry Q10 release date.
BlackBerry Q10 – T-Mobile, Sprint and Global Release Date
Although the exact date is not yet known, the BlackBerry Q10 is expected to be globally launched sometime in April, with the Canadian carrier Rogers already accepting pre-orders for this QWERTY-ed smartphone ever since late-January.
The initial reports regarding the BlackBerry Q10 release date in the States suggested that US customers would be getting this device about eight to ten weeks after the global launch (which is officially scheduled for April), meaning early-June.
However, recent rumors seem to suggest that at least T-Mobile’s customers will be able to score the device a bit sooner than initially anticipated, in May. We’re not sure how accurate this rumor is, but since T-Mo’s business customers already got Q10’s sibling faster than initially anticipated, we’re hoping for the best.
Sprint on the other hand, while confirming the availability of the BlackBerry Q10, hasn’t given us any hints regarding its release date, so it may be as soon as May or as late as early-June. In any case, be sure to check back with us as we’ll continue to update you with the latest news on the matter.
