I don’t know about you fine folk, but I for one could never really spend a few hundred dollars for a tablet to like actually use. Sure I like to play around with them, laugh while watching a couple of cat videos on YouTube or maybe even play a game or two, but I could never really get used to one. The main reason is their size, the second one being the fact that I already own a netbook and a huge desktop PC. So what if you go for something in between? What if you want to go for the Samsung Galaxy Note?
Samsung’s Galaxy Note has been roaming around these past few weeks and now the device has finally landed with the FCC. The device seems to be sporting NA 3G/4G bands which might just point towards AT&T being the first network to get their hands on this crossbreed between tablet and smartphone. However, let’s remember the Samsung Galaxy S2 story, which also showed up with the FCC quite a lot of months ago and saw a launch only in September, with carriers still just getting ready to really push it out on the market.
[UPDATE] Check out the FCC docs below (click the images for larger versions):
The Samsung Galaxy Note is showing of a 5.3 inch Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, so it’s understandable why it would be a good idea to start drooling after it. In any case, the fact that the device just landed with the FCC might just show that the Samsung Galaxy Note release date could be closing in, but as I’ve said earlier, this was the case with the Samsung Galaxy S2 so don’t get your hopes up just yet. In any case, make sure to drop us a line and stay tuned as we’ll keep you posted with the latest developments!
