Google Nexus 7 With 32GB To Replace The 16GB Model ? Release Date Around The Corner ?

by Mihai Matei on October 12, 2012

Lately we got quite a few new bits and pieces that add up to the whole “Google Nexus 7 with 32GB of storage” puzzle, and considering the intensity of these leaks, we’re fairly confident that the tablet really is in the works and is heading towards its finish line (or rather launch line ?).

Nevertheless, when it comes to the release date of this alleged 32GB model, nothing has been confirmed yet so we can’t really play the guessing game at this point. What we can do however, is to keep an eye out and gather as much information regarding the device as possible. Well, we did just that and the process continues to pay off, as a brand new leaked picture has hit the blogosphere, revealing some pretty interesting aspects concerning both the 32 and the 16GB models.

Google Nexus 7 with 32GB of Storage

A few days ago we’ve stumbled across a leaked picture showing the Google Nexus 7 with 32GB of storage in Carphone Warehouse’s inventory system. Just a couple of days later or so, we’ve reported that a gadget enthusiast who ordered a 16GB model, accidentally received a 32GB Nexus 7. Now that’s a lucky customer!

Getting back to the matter at hand, the most recently leaked picture indicates that the 32GB model might actually replace the 16GB one, as the latter seems to reach its end-of-life (EOL), as you can see above. Whether or not this will actually be the case remains to be seen. After all, these are leaks and rumors and should be treated as such.

Nevertheless, if most of these leaks would not have a grain of truth to them, our jobs wouldn’t actually exist. With that in mind, the possibility that the 16GB model has reached EOL can’t be easily discarded and in fact, it even raises further questions. Will the 8GB Nexus 7 follow the same road as well? Is the 32GB model going to be retailed at the same price as the 16GB version?

I suppose we’ll have to continue to keep an eye out for more info on the new Google Nexus 7 model, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you up to speed.

Thanks Droid Life for the latest on the Google Nexus 7 with 32GB.
