With the HTC Sensation 4G at T-Mobile finally getting Ice Cream Sandwich, the HTC Amaze 4G is next in line to get the update and by the looks of it, we’re only a few days away from the OTA launch.
HTC Amaze 4G Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4 ICS)
Truth be told, the road towards deploying Ice Cream Sandwich on the HTC Sensation 4G was a bit bumpier than it was for the HTC Amaze, with finger-pointing at T-Mobile for holding the HTC Sensation update back on purpose and what not, while the HTC Amaze owners also had access to a leaked ICS build which worked pretty well from the box, making their time pass by faster.
But enough of that, the official launch is mere days away and in fact, Android 4 is expected to land on the HTC Amaze 4G OTA, starting May 21st.

As with the HTC Sensation 4G, the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Amaze 4G will come along with HTC Sense 3.6 which as you may know, borrows some of the features found in the HTC Sense version 4, but remains a bit lighter so that the hardware can handle it well.
