Although this may not come as a surprise anymore considering the fact that the rumors indicating a May 18th release date were pretty solid, Sprint has just officially confirmed that their HTC Evo 4G LTE will indeed hit the market on the above mentioned date. In terms of pricing nothing has changed either and the 4.7 inch beast will go on sale wearing a price tag of $199.99 alongside a two-year contract with Sprint. In case you’re planning on purchasing the HTC Evo 4G LTE you may also want to know that the handset is already available for pre-order from Sprint’s official website at the same price.

In case you’re not really up to date with what the handset has to offer in terms of specifications, feel free to check out our HTC Evo 4G LTE overview.

We’re quite excited about what the handset can do and I’ve been a fan of the Evo 4G LTE ever since Sprint decided to take it one step further and mend some of the flaws that came along with the HTC One X. You’ll find all the information you need in the overview.

That’s pretty much it folks. The wait for Sprint HTC flagship handset is almost over. Come Friday and we’ll be able to finally get our hands on the device. In the meantime, feel free to share your thoughts with us.
