Although this may not come as a surprise anymore considering the fact that the rumors indicating a May 18th release date were pretty solid, Sprint has just officially confirmed that their HTC Evo 4G LTE will indeed hit the market on the above mentioned date. It’s always nice when a carrier confirms what we’ve all expected for a long time.

In terms of pricing nothing has changed either and the 4.7 inch beast will go on sale wearing a price tag of $199.99 alongside a two-year contract with Sprint.
