We’ve established in one of our previous articles that Sprint’s intention is to bring a slightly modified, freshened up HTC One XL on its network, dubbed HTC Evo 4G LTE. Judging by what we’ve learned so far the HTC Evo 4G LTE will weed out some of the flaws found in the HTC One XL such as lack of a microSD card, feature which will fortunately be available on Sprint’s variant.
Additionally, the HTC Evo 4G LTE will sport a dedicated camera button and a kickstand, and overall the HTC Evo 4G LTE shapes up to be a great handset which builds and improves upon the already highly acclaimed HTC One XL.
On short, Sprint decided not to just fit the HTC One XL with a radio compatible to their network and then call it a day. However all these small upgrades add up so the HTC Evo 4G LTE will hit the market a bit later than expected. Fortunately, Sprint is working double time in order to launch the HTC Evo 4G LTE as soon as possible, and as it turns out the handset appears to be one step closer to the finish line.
