HTC One in UK – Release Date and Price Info
Well folks, the HTC One has been finally unveiled and in a nutshell: it looks great and it sounds very promising. The handset arrives with a pretty impressive set of specs, including a Snapdragon 600 processor that’s supposedly more powerful than the Nvidia Tegra 4, a brand new user interface dubbed Sense 5 and a pretty interesting camera that doesn’t seem to follow the current trend of fitting a sensor with a high MP count and then call it a day.
All in all, we have high hopes for this particular gadget, but as we’ve mentioned before, availability is the key of success and in the past HTC hasn’t been more “quiet” than “brilliant” regarding the matter. Fortunately, the manufacturer doesn’t seem to plan on repeating the same mistakes again, so without further ado, let’s talk about availability in the UK.
HTC One in UK – Release Date and Price
The HTC One is expected to hit the global market in March, at least that’s what we’re led to believe by the manufacturer, and by the looks of it, that might actually be the case.
Worldwide, the One is expected to hit the shelves next month in 80 territories and through 185 carriers. UK is obviously on the list, and in case you’re wondering, so far it’s certain that the gadget will be available via H3G UK, O2, EE (Everything Everywhere), Vodafone UK, Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U.
Furthermore, the unlocked 32 GB One variant is already available for pre-purchase at Clove, at the price of £425 (£510 including VAT). The retailer also claims that the first stock is expected on March 15th.
Vodafone UK has also announced that it will offer the device starting with that very same date.
That being said, chances are that the handset will hit UK and perhaps the global market on March 15th, so this places us about three weeks away from being able to purchase the device.
Thanks Android Central for the heads-up regarding the HTC One release date and price in UK.
