Over a month after the global HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE Ice Cream Sandwich update began its rollout, we have some more news for the US owners of the device. After many delays, beta testing and all that stuff, the HTC Sensation 4G Ice Cream Sandwich started showing for US users as well with Cincinnati Bell being the first in line.

Although we expected T-Mobile to be the first out there to offer the update, Magenta’s HTC Sensation 4G Ice Cream Sandwich update saw a number of delays. Because of some undisclosed compatibility and stability problems, it seems that Sensation 4G owners with T-Mobile have quite a wait ahead of them.
In all of this confusion, Cincinnati Bell announced the release of the update for their users a short while ago. The OTA update will reach all Sensations by the end of April and will bring Android 4.0.3 and although there is no word on what HTC Sense version we will see, we expect to see Sense 3.6 running with this update.

HTC Sensation Ice Cream Sandwich: T-Mobile Beaten By Cincinnati Bell In The States (Android 4 ICS)
After the T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G Android 4 ICS update was pushed back again, I really understand the frustration of owners of the device on the network. Now with this coming up and showing the first taste of ICS for the Sensation on US soil, I believe we might have a small riot on our hands.
This really is one of the most “controversial” Android 4 updates out there so I hope HTC and T-Mobile will get their sh*t together as this can damage their image in the long run.
Your thoughts on the situation? Are you one of the lucky ones that gets the update or are you part of team T-Mobile? Drop us a line and stay tuned!
