HTC Titan Release Date at AT&T Finally Announced – Joining Samsung Focus S and Flash

by Catalin on November 13, 2011

Although still pretty wet behind the ears, Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform is developing nicely, showing off a lot of cool new features and improvements. The tile system employed in Windows Phone devices really helps out in streamlining every operation and the solid way these devices work really helps out in consolidating their market share. Monday saw a Microsoft hosted Windows Phone event in New York and with it the chance to look at some of the upcoming devices touting this operating system. It also created a good opportunity to put a price tag and a release date on the upcoming HTC Titan with the folks at AT&T.

HTC Titan Release Date

HTC’s Titan (is it really living up to its name ?) showed off some pretty impressive specs and at the same time it gave us a glimpse at what’s coming in terms of Windows Phones. The device already saw its launch in Europe, yet the US is still waiting for it. However, the carrier won’t delay the Titan’s arrival any longer as AT&T officially announced the HTC Titan release date, which is now scheduled for the 20th of November. The pricing for the HTC Titan is set at $200 on-contract with the carrier, which is an appropriate price considering the smartphone’s specs and features.

HTC Titan

The HTC Titan comes with a 4.7 inch WVGA S-LCD display, a 1.5GHz Snapdragon MSM 8255 chipset, 512 MB of RAM along with 16GB of built-in storage. Unfortunately there is no micro SD card slot and Windows Phone 7.5 Mango does take up quite a bit, so you’ll be left with roughly 12GB of storage to play around with. The main camera on the HTC Titan is an 8 MP shooter with 720p recording while the front-facing camera sits at 1.3 MP.

If the HTC Titan on AT&T is too pricey for your purse, worry not as the release date coincides nicely with the release date for two more Windows Phone devices on AT&T, the Samsung Focus S and the Focus Flash. If HTC Titan price of $200 doesn’t quite cut it, then the Samsung Focus Flash for its $50 price should do the trick in getting you your Windows Phone fix. Stay tuned!

Thanks PocketNow for letting us know the HTC Titan release date at AT&T.
