HTC has been one of my personal favorite companies for some time now and although that might sound very weird coming from someone who quietly drools when he sees a Motorola Droid, there is a reason for that. HTC’s devices aren’t just solid in terms of build quality, but they are so in all aspects – performance, pricing and specs. That’s why I can’t wait to get my hands on the HTC Edge – the manufacturer’s rumored quad core smartphone. However, aside this quad-core monster HTC has some other tricks up its sleeve, like the upcoming HTC Ville (HTC’s slimmest smartphone yet) which seems to be poised for T-Mobile!
HTC’s Ville is rumored to be landing over with T-Mobile, which doesn’t come as a shock seeing as the Magenta network has been carrying HTC high end devices for some time now. Although not quite the quad-core beast that Edge is, the HTC Ville will be measuring less than 8 millimeters in thickness and comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 4.3 inch qHD display with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to top it all off.
Despite not being quite the monster, the Ville is sure one hell of a device, since simply put, the entire Windows Phone lineup consists of single core devices.
Although not a lot has happened in HTC “Ville” during CES, it’s rumored that the manufacturer will be releasing more good news in the near future, with big announcements being planned for next month’s MWC.
HTC Ville Release Date at T-Mobile
If you are on T-Mobile, the news of the HTC Ville should be brightening up your day since you’ll be getting the chance to grab up one of the coolest devices coming out this spring (that’s of course if we don’t count the quad-core monsters lurking around in the shadows). As far as a more specific release date goes, rumors are pointing towards an April HTC Ville release date at T-Mobile.
If you want to know more about the HTC Ville, make sure to drop back around and we’ll keep you posted!
