Was iPhone 4S initially supposed to be called iPhone 5? We don’t know. Has the iPhone 4S disappointed objective users and/or critics (we leave the fan-boys out because they surely love everything Apple throws at them) ? Well, from a design point of view yes … absolutely. Is the world ready for another iPhone so soon after 4S’s launch ? As long as we get the iPhone 5 and not another 4SS, 4GS or whatever … hell yeah. iPhone 5 Release Date
Recently, the guys at BGR have found out some interesting details regarding the iPhone 5 release date as well as some info about the design of Apple’s upcoming smartphone. Stay with as for the full rundown.
First of all, the Apple iPhone 5 release date seems to be scheduled for this fall, similar to iPhone 4S’ launch. We don’t have an exact iPhone 5 release date but, for the time being, this time-window is good enough for us.
iPhone 5 Release Date and Design Rumors
Next up, it seems that Apple iPhone 5′s design will be featuring a bezel made of either rubber or plastic. This way, the aluminum back plate will be connected with the glass front. The bezel will also shield the redesigned antenna.
Still staying to the design and specs department, other rumors are claiming that the smartphone will pack a ~4-inch display (iPhone 4 and 4S are sporting a 3.5 inch display).
There’s not much info to work with, but at least we’ve heard an Apple iPhone 5 release date that actually makes sense. As for its new design and specs, time will tell what else is under the hood.
