iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 – When We’ll Be Able To Do That Thing ?

by Mihai Matei on September 29, 2012

Every gadget enthusiast out there knows about the “eternal” battle between Apple and Samsung, whether he/she prefers Android, iOS, Windows Phone or BlackBerry. These two companies are the industry’s behemoths that are basically battling over the supremacy on the mobile market, and there are times when the fight does not always take place between their products, but in courtrooms and in advertisement department as well.

We’ve already compared the Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5 on numerous occasions and we’ve talked about benchmark results and who crushes who more than enough, but probably the most hilarious bit when it comes to comparing these two high-end gadgets are the commercials created by Samsung.

Following Samsung’s printed ad which surfaced a few days before the iPhone 5 went on sale, the Korean manufacturer created a pretty clever TV-spot which we -and many others for that matter- found quite hilarious. I’m sure that some Apple enthusiasts out there might’ve felt offended or annoyed by this commercial but hey, you’re rocking the smartphone you love the most and that should make you happy, right?

Well, it looks like Samsung is at it again and following their full one-and-a-half minute TV-spot they’ve decided to create two more commercials. It’s nothing new really; both spots are shorter versions of the first one and cover two main topics, but they’re still funny nonetheless.

The first one focuses on pointing out that the iPhone 5 doesn’t bring much new to the table and that it’s only good for its App Store, whereas the second spot reminds everyone that the iPhone 5 lacks NFC capabilities. Unfortunately that is true and not opened for debate. The lack of NFC on Apple’s smartphone is disappointing, especially when considering the fact that this particular feature has been around for quite some time now, and even Windows Phone 8 devices are joining the party.

Well, that’s all there is to it. Check out the two new TV-spots below and enjoy!
