Every time a new highly anticipated smartphone closes in to its release date, countless rumors emerge suggesting one thing or another in regards to the said product. If the gadget is part of an older series of devices (such as the iPhone), it so happens that some of these rumors actually reoccur on a yearly basis. Some pan out to be correct, eventually, while others die off and are forgotten.
Recently it appeared that the iPhone 6 was also subject to an older, reiterated rumor, suggesting that the Apple logo on the smartphone’s back panel will act as a notification light. Based on a recently leaked picture though, this doesn’t seem to be the case after all.
iPhone 6 Apple Logo Pics Surface
The leaked image embedded above allegedly depicts a handful of Apple logos destined to be fitted on the back panel of the iPhone 6. Although this may be disappointing to some, it sure looks like the logos are nothing more than just that -“logos” – and there’s no indication of any LEDs or connectors being present. Also, the source of this pic confirms that fact that the logo will not emit any kind of light.
Evidently, we can’t be 100% certain that the logos depicted in this image are meant for the iPhone 6, so if you really want to hold on to the idea that the next-gen iPhone will further enrich the user experience through its Apple logo, then you’re free to do so. Nevertheless, we recommend that you treat the information accordingly. Be skeptical if you will, because not much can be confirmed without an official announcement.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more, but in the meantime don’t hesitate to hit the comment section with thoughts and opinions regarding these Apple logo rumors.
