iPhone 6 Release Date Scheduled For 2013 – Or So They Claim
There has been a lot to talk about in regards to the Android market lately, but now it’s time to direct our attention to Apple as well. As we all know, stores everywhere have been flooded with high-end gadgets such as the HTC One, the Samsung Galaxy S4, the LG Optimus G Pro and Sony Xperia Z, just to name a few. With these beasts lurking around, showing off the latest technology available (full HD screens, last-gen processors etc), the Apple flagship looks less and less appealing.
Nevertheless, tons of rumors and leaks have indicated that Apple is planning on releasing a new smartphone by the end of the year, but the biggest question is whether or not this upcoming flagship will be a small and rather disappointing update, or a brand new, powerful device. Basically, people are wondering whether or not the next device will be the iPhone 5S, or the iPhone 6. Well, we can’t know for sure, but here’s what the latest rumors are suggesting.
iPhone 6 Release Date: 2013?
Previous rumors have suggested that both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6 will be delayed, with the 6 hitting the shelves sometime in 2014. However, according to some newer leaks and rumors, Apple could skip the iPhone 5S altogether and jump straight to the iPhone 6.
The image you see above is a bit fuzzy and doesn’t really mean much if you look at it. Nonetheless, it allegedly comes from sources that had access to the till system of one of UK’s mobile operators. The listing suggests that the 4G-enabled iPhone 6 will be the next smartphone to hit the shelves.
Other than that, there’s not much else to say, besides the idea that the iPhone 6 would allegedly pack a larger display, a different look and a redesigned operating system.
Whatever the case, we advise you to take this rumor / leak with a pinch of salt as it barely has any foundation. It is a possibility that the iPhone 5S will be skipped, but until more evidence shows up on our radars, we’ll remain a bit skeptical if you don’t mind.
