A lot of rumors and leaks are surrounding the highly anticipated LG G4, and almost all of them are promising one hell of a smartphone. However, since the end of March, LG fans have been hoping that one rumor in particular does not come true – yes, you guessed it – the one claiming that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808.
According to an insider who came clean almost one month ago, LG had to take these drastic steps because Qualcomm has not been able to solve Snapdragon 810’s famous overheating issues.
Unfortunately, the latest LG G4 leak seams to confirm our fears. Check it out!
If the leak above is legit, the LG G4 will indeed be powered by a hex-core Snapdragon 808 (quad core clocked at 1440 MHz joined by a dual core clocked at 384 MHz).
However, there is no way to be 100% sure that the handset pictured above is indeed the LG G4, some kind of “Lite” version of the phone, or an entirely different device altogether. One can hope, right?
