Last week, LG’s Cho Juno confirmed that the company’s next flagship phone will be unveiled in the fourth quarter of the year. Theoretically, this could mean early October just as much as mid-December.
However, seeing how the fabled LG G4 Note became the subject of a higher number of leaks and rumors lately, we assumed that the device may be on its way for an earlier, rather than a later market debut.
Fortunately, we might not have to wait for long before the G4 Note hits the stage, and according to recent reports from Korea the event might take place on the 10 of October.
LG G4 Note to Go Live on October 10?
According to the Korean media, an LG official recently spilled the beans during a briefing on the company’s plans for the rest of the second half of the year. As a result, the official seems to have confirmed an October 10 release for the mysterious LG G4 Note.
Technically this would give the company a pretty fair chance to compete with the Galaxy Note 5 and the iPhone 6S Plus, but remember that the G4 Note might not be as “super premium” as we were led to believe in the first half of the year.
In fact the latest word on the street is that the LG G4 Note will maintain a conservative approach, and will employ a plastic build along with a removable battery, back-fitted buttons, and presumably a much more powerful camera which could arrive in a dual-unit configuration for improved depth perception and so on.
LG also trademarked two additional stylus-oriented smartphones known as the G4 Graphy and the G4 Script, but whether these models will be unveiled along with the highly-anticipated G4 Note has yet to be confirmed. Either way, we’ll keep you in the loop if we find out more about this alleged October 10 unveiling so stick around.
