Thanks to the countless rumors and leaks, we now have a pretty good idea how this year’s both upcoming Nexus phones are going to look and what kind of hardware they will conceal under their hoods once they got released.
And speaking of release dates, this is pretty much the only important detail that rumors didn’t quite touch. Until now that is.
If the LG Nexus 5 is something you’re interested in, we have good news for you as a Korean media outlet now thinks it knows the exact date the Nexus 5 refresh is going to become available for purchase.
Stay with us for the full story.
According to the latest rumor, the LG Nexus 5 will hit Google’s virtual shelves on September 29th. The South Korean outlet that came forward with this info claims that the source that has provided the September 29th release date has also been spot on two years ago, when the original Nexus 5 hit shelves.
As far as the 2015 LG Nexus 5 spec and features are concerned, the same source has confirmed pretty much every detail listed in the leak we covered a couple of days ago (see above image): Snapdragon 808 chipset, 5.2-inch 2560 × 1440 display, 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 13MP camera with the same OIS tech like the one employed by the LG G4, fingerprint sensor, Android M (Marshmallow), and an USB Type-C connector.
By the looks of it, we know pretty much everything there is to about LG’s 2015 Nexus 5. Assuming that everything that leaked so far sticks, but we have a good feeling that it will. All we need to know now is the price, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground and let you know if anything new pops out.
