New Microsoft Surface Update In The Making

Back in December we’ve talked a bit about Microsoft’s plans on keeping the Surface tablet line-up up to date for a pretty long time, and a few weeks ago the software giant has released one of the many updates that are going to hit the Surface RT in the future.

In theory, Microsoft seems to be committed to offer high-quality support to its customers and products, but in practice, it seems that with the latest Microsoft Surface RT update a few nasty bugs have managed to get under the company’s radars and caused a few headaches to certain Windows RT users.

New Microsoft Surface RT Update On Its Way

Alright folks, so here’s the skinny. After applying the latest update on their Surface RT, certain users have reported that they don’t have access to the Windows Store anymore and that updating applications doesn’t work anymore. Fortunately, this issue doesn’t seem to affect everyone, but clearly, Microsoft needs to do something about it as soon as possible.

Thankfully, the company has recently announced that a new update is on its way for the Surface RT, and that the upcoming build will fix all these problems that some users have experienced.

The hotfix is set to hit the waves by early February so it can happen pretty much any time now. That being said, keep your Surface RT close to you if you own one, and make sure you download and apply the patch as soon as you’re able to do so.

Last but certainly not least, this particular update will arrive on pretty much every ARM-based Windows RT-powered device out there, so if you’re experiencing any issues with your non-Microsoft RT tablet, then you should be able to apply this hotfix once it hits the waves.
