Motorola Droid 4 Release Date
Rumors surrounding the release date of the upcoming Motorola Droid 4 have obviously haunted us as the end of the year came closer to us. As expected, things haven’t changed once we’ve made our first steps into 2012 and additional rumors regarding the so called „QWERTY-ed RAZR” have surfaced with a higher intensity than ever, bringing us closer to some concrete news overlooking this highly anticipated device.
After the December failed rumored Motorola Droid 4 release dates (December 8th and December 22nd) and the rumored February release date, we’ve finally got our hands on some official bits of news revealing that the Motorola Droid 4 will indeed see the light of day in Verizon’s caring hands, sometime in the upcoming weeks – which for me translates into „in less than a month”-.
However, further proof that the Motorola Droid 4 release date is just around the corner is the fact that Droid 3 is rumored to bow down and make way for its successor soon enough.
The official announcement came straight from CES Las Vegas and Basking Ride New Jersey, where both Verizon Wireless and Motorola officially uncovered the Motorola Droid 4 with all its bells and whistles including the edge-lit 5 row QWERTY keyboard, which might be one of the most sought after feature by all of the physical QWERTY keyboard enthusiasts out there.
Furthermore, the device will be fully compatible with a wide array of Lapdocks including the 14 inch Lapdock 500 Pro, and will come packed strait out of the box with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, whilst an Ice Cream Sandwich O.S. upgrade is to be expected soon after the official launch of the device.
