Contrary to the early rumors indicating that the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX will be rolled-out in a timely manner, mid-May was the first time when the manufacturer gave us a timeframe in which we can expect Android 4 to hit the waves, other than the good old “coming soon” announcement obviously.

On short, it was quite a pleasant surprise to see that we’re going to get a more vanilla ICS experience once the update hits the waves.
