The guys at Mobility Insider have recently announced they got wind of the BlackBerry PlayBook price range. If their source is correct, RIM will provide 3 models of the BlackBerry PlayBook, the only difference between them being the amount of internal storage – 8, 16 and 32GB ( where the hell is the 64GB version ? ).
So, the 8GB BlackBerry PlayBook will set you back $399, the 16GB will cost $499 and the 32GB PlayBook will be available for $599.

Also, according to the same source, the BlackBerry PlayBook won’t have built-in WWAN connectivity, which means that in order to tether a data connection you’ll have to use a BlackBerry phone, a WiFi or a Mobile Hotspot.
The BlackBerry PlayBook will be powered by a 1GHz Cortex-A9 dual core processor and will feature a 7 inch WSVGA ( 1024 x 600 ) display that supports multi-touch and gestures.
Other noteworthy BlackBerry PlayBook specs are a 5MP rear and a 3MP front-facing camera, 1080 HD video support, micro HDMI and micro USB, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n.
RIM has also stated that the BlackBerry PlayBook will come with a browser capable of taking full advantage of Adobe Flash 10.1, Adobe AIR, and HTML5.
The BlackBerry PlayBook release date is “early 2011“.
Oh, and as a side note…the BlackBerry PlayBook plays a cameo in the recently released Black Eyed Peas Video – The Time ( Dirty Bit ) that you can catch below.
