Motorola’s Atrix 4G is probably one of the most anticipated and acclaimed Android smartphone in the past few months with a huge marketing campaign and impressive specs backing it up.
One would think that the “most powerful smartphone on the planet”, as Motorola marketed it at least, would set you back quite a lot of Benjamins, but things have changed. Amazon is offering the device for as low as $129.99 on a new 2 year contract. However, you also need to get a data pack of at least $15/month but you’ve probably been expecting that.
The bad part is that if you’re already under an AT&T contract and you want an extension/upgrade you’ll have to pay $149.99 for the Motorola Atrix 4G.

• NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU packing 1 GHz per core
• 1 GB of DDR 2 RAM, which allow the device to just fly through those menus

• Android 2.2 Froyo with Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade ability ( that’s according to Motorola of course, so that might be subject to change )

To think that you can get the Motorola Atrix 4G with this price cut from Amazon is indeed amazing. Just think of all the horse power ( well metaphorically speaking of course ) you get for the $129.99 price tag on a 2 year contract. To be honest, this is probably one of the largest price cuts out there and thanks to the laptop dock and the HD dock, I would say that the Atrix 4G still has quite a long run ahead of itself.
