It sounds too good to be true, but Motorola used it’s Facebook page to announce that something is going to be revealed this Friday, and we’re hoping to see the much awaited Motorola Droid RAZR HD. This would make it the first Motorola device launched since Google took control, and Motorola managed to do quite well with the Droid RAZR on it’s own so imagine what they can accomplish with Google backing them (even though the official statement is that Moto will be 100% independent).
Motorola Droid RAZR HD
The Motorola Droid RAZR HD has been in our attention for quite a while and it managed to impress every time, making it a device we really look forward to.
As you can see above, Motorola will give the answer this Friday, while posting a clue each day regarding the smartphone. And from the first clue, we know for sure it sports 4G LTE technology. That probably means the US version of the Droid RAZR HD will arrive before the international edition of the smartphone. But don’t hold your breath, because there is a chance that Motorola is posting about an already launched device, as it does not mention it being a new smartphone. That would be a huge disappointment for a lot of folks including me, especially after teasing us with a “big reveal” scheduled on Friday.
Either way, Motorola should launch the Droid RAZR HD pretty soon, as competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or even the Sony Xperia T could do some damage if they arrive first. And if you consider the fact that some leaked pictures of the RAZR HD made it on the internet, we shouldn’t have to do a lot of waiting before finding the phone in stores.
What do you think of Motorola’s guessing game ? Do you think we will see the Droid RAZR HD on Friday? Let us know in comments below and make sure to check out Motorola’s Facebook page for the next hint. We know we will.
[LATER EDIT: Judging by the latest hint published on Facebook, Moto does not plan on revealing anything new this Friday. Bummer]
