T-Mobile’s LG G2X has been around for a while now, in the news that is, and everything was pointing towards a rather shortly approaching release date. Thankfully, this time around we’ve finally got a date and a price-tag for G2X folks.
Although there were a lot of rumors regarding the T-Mobile LG G2X release date, this time around it’s the carrier itself which gave out the release date for the device as well as the price tag which will be attached to this beastly dual-core smartphone.
Android Central managed to release the information first ( as far as I know ) regarding the price tag and the release date for the LG Optimus 2X ( T-Mobile G2X ) and T-Mobile confirmed it officially as well. As such, you will be able to get the G2X starting with the 15th of April if you wish to order it online for $199 on a contract and you will be able to get it in stores starting with the 20th of April.
In case a contract is not to your liking, you can get it for $499 without a contract, which considering the specs of the T-Mobile LG G2X, I would say it’s like holding T-Mobile at gunpoint and demanding the phone from them.

• 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p full HD recording
T-Mobile G2X - a few days and its out!
The specs are indeed stellar and the device proved its value in quite a lot of reviews lately. Despite being launched for almost 4 months now as LG Optimus 2X ( almost 5 if I think about it ), this is the fastest you could get it on contract in the US, as far as I know.
