Recently, the tech giant HP has officially announced at the Think Beyond event in San Francisco the HP TouchPad specs. However, the release date, pricing or availability weren’t disclosed. They just said that the Hp TouchPad release date will arrive this summer, and that the price will be announced at a later date.
So, that leaves a lot af room for rumors and speculations. People are very eager to see this device not only because of its specs, but probably because it’s the first tablet that runs webOS. One of BGR’s trustworthy sources says that HP will release Touchpad on the market before the end of June. From this source we also found out that Hp Touchpad price will be $699, less than the price announced for a possible market rival, Motorola Xoom – $799.
HP TouchPad comes with a 9.7-inch diagonal flush capacitive multitouch display with 1024×768 pixels resolution, a dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon processor at 1.2Ghz and a lot of RAM – 1GB.
Other HP TouchPad specs are: a front-facing 1.3MP camera for video calls, aGPS (on the 3G models), 6300 mAh battery and Touchstone charger, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. And the coolest fact is that you will get all that in a device 9.45 inches wide, 7.48 inches tall, 0.54 inches thick, that weights a little more than 1,5 pounds.
We will follow the subject and we will keep you posted with the hottest news about HP TouchPad.
