Making you happy by bringing good news makes us happy, too. So we’ve come back to you with a rumor – but hey, a rumor is better than nothing – concerning the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for your Samsung Epic 4G ( Sprint customers for the moment ). Only two weeks separate us from getting it, as it is rumored, so (hopefully) at the end of this month you will be able to enjoy the improvements it will bring new to the table.
If you recall, the news about the Samsung Epic 4G Android 2.3 Gingerbread update were going about since May, and the things promised to be changed on your smartphone probably made some of you impatient, especially after what happened with the previous update, Android 2.2 Froyo. Let’s hope this time we’ll get lucky.
If you haven’t found out already, the easiest to notice will be the TouchWiz UI – simple and clean. Other things you’ll be getting include an increased performance ( as the Galaxy S users have claimed ), faster and easier text input, increased gaming experience and a longer lasting battery ( thanks to the darker color scheme ).
These being said, sit tight for more news, for we will keep you posted as soon as we uncover anything new or official about the update.
Thanks Sprintfeed for the news regarding the Samsung Epic 4G Android 2.3 Gingerbread update release date.
