The Nexus line-up has earned a ton of fans during these past several years, and for good reasons. Nexus smartphones have become better and cooler looking, and the next best thing expected to come out of the search engine giant’s factory gates seems to be really promising.
As most of you already know, the handset in question is not yet official, but there have been so many leaks regarding its specifications that nothing will probably surprise us once the device will be unveiled. To make things even more interesting, a Japanese retailer might have now revealed the exact Nexus 5 release date and price. Interested in finding out more? Scroll down for details.
Nexus 5 Release Date and Price Revealed?
Japanese retailer Gekko & Co. has recently posted some pretty exciting bits of information concerning the Nexus 5’s arrival. Evidently, we can’t actually confirm whether or not Gekko knows something or the retailer is just guessing, but according to these latest bits of information, the Nexus 5 will hit the market on November 14. The 16 GB variant will allegedly cost 44,600 yen (about $460), and the 32 GB model will supposedly be priced at 49,800 yen (roughly $513).
The retailer reveals a rich spec sheet as well, containing details that are not new to us. The device is still expected to deliver a Snapdragon 800 quad-core CPU, 2 GB of RAM, a 4.95 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, an 8 MP main camera complemented by a 1.3 MP secondary sensor, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
We’ve suspected that the Nexus 5 will be either released in October alongside Android 4.4 KitKat, or unveiled in October and released in November. Could the aforementioned Google Nexus 5 release date (and price) be accurate? Only time will tell. Stick around and we’ll keep you posted.
