Good news for our UK friends that have been keeping an eye on Panasonic and their attempt to breach the European market. Clove has recently revealed the Panasonic Eluga Power release date along with the device’s availability. The retailer released details regarding the pricing for the handset and considering the specifications, this is an excellent deal.
Panasonic Eluga Power Release Date
First of all, you can pre-order the Panasonic Eluga Power right now. According to retailer, the actual shipping date and by implication the Panasonic Eluga Power release date is set for “late April”. Most retailers have stopped offering proper dates seeing as these can change. The Eluga Power retails at 478 GBP (with VAT).
Panasonic’s Eluga Power display measures in at 5 inches and the resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels. Powering the Eluga Power is a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Series 4 dual-core processor. This is similar to the one found in the HTC One S or the AT&T 4G version of the HTC One X. There are 8 GB of built-in storage as well as a microSD card slot.
The Eluga Power comes with an 8 megapixel main camera on the back with 1080p recording capabilities. Panasonic also equipped the handset with a front-facing shooter for video calling.
The battery in the Eluga Power is packing more power than the one in the smaller Eluga as it sits at 1,800mAh.
Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and water resistance is also inside the package. That is right folks, the Eluga Power is also water proof and dust proof.
All of the above is packed in a package measuring 136 x 70 x 9.6 mm (that is 5.35 x 2.76 x 0.38 inches) and the weight of the device is still very low at 133 grams (that is 4.69 ounces).
If you have roughly 500 GBP laying around the house (I don’t but I might just get some!) then the Panasonic Eluga Power is coming in late April. That puts the device a little over a month away from its release date.
