Based on past events it seems that Huawei has been cooking up a brand new flagship smartphone for quite some time. It was back in April when we first discussed about a possible new top-tier device coming from Huawei’s factories, and the leaks and rumors kept popping-up occasionally, as if to remind us that what we’re dealing with is no myth.
Today we make a full circle and return to the so-called “Mulan” (which will actually going to be retailed under the Glory 6 / Honor 6 moniker ) – the same Huawei smartphone that has been previously spotted in benchmarks – as the gadget in question has once again resurfaced, this time in a handful of pictures and with more specs in tow. Details below.
Huawei’s “Mulan” Resurfaces
The images you see above and below have been recently posted on the Chinese social network “Weibo”, and what we’re supposedly looking at is the same aforementioned Huawei Mulan that keeps making the rounds. According to the source, the handset comes with a 5-inch Full HD display, an 8-core Kirin 920 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz per core, 3 GB of RAM and a 13 MP main camera complemented by a secondary 5 MP sensor.
The smartphone is allegedly packing a metal frame, and much like the first leak concerning the Mulan has suggested, the device appears to take advantage of a fingerprint scanner.
The overall design seems pretty sleek, but it’s definitely something new and different from what we’ve seen in renders up until now. Evidently, we can’t confirm if everything that has been leaked so far is legit, including the renders above, but the handset will supposedly hit the scene on June 24, so our hopes are that we’ll soon get the chance to learn all there is to this new Huawei smartphone.
Until that moment comes, we invite you to join us in the comment section with thoughts and opinions concerning Huawei’s next flagship. Based on today’s leaked shots, what’s your take on the handset’s alleged final design?
