PlayStation 4 (PS4) Release Date: What We Know So Far
The PlayStation 3 has been around for many years and many of you should already know by now that the time for a new generation console has pretty much arrived. The PlayStation 4 has been unveiled rather recently, along with its new, redesigned DualShock controller, and all in all we’re expecting this powerful beast to hit the shelves sometime later in the year.
Evidently it’s a bit early to pinpoint the exact release date of the upcoming Sony game console, but judging by the latest happenings, we might have an answer on when we’ll be able to buy it.
PlayStation 4 / PS4 Release Date
Recently the creative director of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game has made an interesting comment during an interview, indicating that the PlayStation 4 might arrive in stores by November this year.
When asked about the game’s release date, Jean Guesdon has revealed that Ubisoft’s next Assassin’s Creed title will arrive in the “same ship” regardless of the game’s version, indicating that the new game will be released at the same time regardless on which console it will arive. The interesting bit is that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is a PS4 title and it is expected to go on sale on October 29th in the US, and on November 1st in the UK, so it’s logical to assume that the console itself will be released within that same timeframe as the game.
Anyhow, release dates are subject to change, and worst case scenario, the game itself can be pushed back, but so far the evidence suggests that the PS4 will hit the shelves earlier than November. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more, so stay tuned. Meanwhile feel free to check out the full interview below.
