After a plethora of high-end dual-core or even quad-core monsters, those out there wishing to buy a decent entry level device might be turned away from what Android OS has to offer them. With beastly specs and tons of power under the hood, these devices don’t fit everyone’s budget or needs. So it’s refreshing to see a new device come to those looking for a very decently specked entry/ mid-range smartphone in the shape and form of the Samsung Galaxy W which, after arriving at T-Mobile (under the Samsung Exhibit 2 moniker), is also coming to Bell sometime during this final quarter.
Samsung Galaxy W
The device in question, the Samsung Galaxy W, is showing off a 3.7 inch WVGA display with a design reminiscent of the Samsung Vibrant. The Samsung Galaxy W is coming with a 1.4 GHz single-core processor, along with a 5 MP main camera which can record 720p videos along with a front-facing VGA shooter.
You also get Wi-Fi and keeping all of this functioning is a 1500mAh battery. Apart from that, the Galaxy W will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
For the time being, the Samsung Galaxy W doesn’t have a specific release date, with Q4 being the general time frame in which this phone should hit the market.

Samsung Galaxy W Coming To Bell - Release Date: Q4 2011 (Rumored)
Samsung’s Galaxy W seems like an excellent choice for those out there wanting to pick up a solid mid-range Android device and if Bell doesn’t mess up the pricing, this could be selling like warm bread. Personally, if I were to see this baby for roughly $300 off-contract, I might just mark this as a “must-buy” for those who wish to get a very well specked Android device and don’t want to cough up the $500-$600 for the premium devices out on the market.
So if this managed to grab your eye, make sure to check back and we’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned!
Thanks Mobile Syrup for letting us know about the rumored Samsung Galaxy W release date at Bell.
