Samsung Galaxy Mega: Android 4.3 Status Update
Recently we’ve received some pretty interesting information concerning the arrival of Android 4.3 on a wide range of smartphones. I’m not referring to the HTC One which has already made the jump to version 4.3, but to the Galaxy line-up.
Apparently, Samsung is working on bringing Android 4.3 on some of its more iconic devices in the “Galaxy” series. This includes the Galaxy S3, the S4, and of course, the Note 2. But, more to the point, we’re here today to discuss about the Samsung Galaxy Mega Android 4.3 update, which could be released sometime soon. More details below.
Samsung Galaxy Mega – Android 4.3 Being Tested?
According to the guys over at Sam Mobile, while Samsung is set to launch Android 4.3 on the Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2, sometime within the October-December time-frame, the Korean manufacturer is also quite busy testing the Samsung Galaxy Mega Android 4.3 update.
We presume that Samsung is mainly focusing on launching the update on its Galaxy S and Note series, reason why we haven’t heard a lot about the arrival of Android 4.3 on the Mega series until now.
Nevertheless, we’re hoping that sooner rather than later we’ll get the opportunity to try out the newer OS version on one of the Megas. For now, all we can do is keep an eye out and hope for the best.
We’re also wondering whether or not the new TouchWiz user interface that will make its debut on the Galaxy Note 3 will also be included in the update for the Mega series. Certain features that are S Pen-dependent are most likely going to be left out, but nevertheless, any addition is welcomed.
Are any of our readers rocking one of the Galaxy Mega smartphones? If so, then which one?
Thanks Sam Mobile for the heads-up regarding the Samsung Galaxy Mega – Android 4.3 update.
