All the hype surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S3 is almost over, now that we have other things to look forward to, including the brand new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the Motorola Droid RAZR HD or the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 just to name a few.
Evidently, despite the fact that the SGS3 is not making the headlines anymore, that doesn’t mean Samsung doesn’t manage to keep themselves under the spotlight because, as it turns out, the company is preparing to make a pretty big unveiling of the “newest Galaxy” device next month. Sounds intriguing? Check back after the break and we’ll share what we know so far.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or Note 2 to be Announced?
The Korean manufacturer has sent “save the date” notices just a few days ago claiming that on August 15th the next Galaxy device will be unveiled. The company has not shared what device we’re actually supposed to look forward to, but knowing that it’s a Galaxy device there are only two options at this point in time. Either they’ll finally unveil the redesigned Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, or the rumored but unconfirmed Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Either way, we’re in for a treat. However, I for one am more curious about the Note 2 since we already know some of the data surrounding the Note 10.1. On the other hand, if they won’t reveal the tablet on August 15 it makes one wonder, will they ever launch it? Have they missed their window of opportunity?
Of course, the best case scenario would be for them to reveal the Galaxy 10.1 and then, as a cherry on top of a sundae, to unveil the Note 2.
I suppose we’ll have to wait and see what Samsung has in store for us, but until then, let the chatter begin. What are your thoughts concerning the matter? Which Galaxy device would you rather see unveiled on August 15th and why?
Thanks Droid life for the heads-up regarding the new Samsung Galaxy device to be announced in mid-August.
