We haven’t heard from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 for a while now, and to be honest, not a lot of worthwhile bits of rumors or information surfaced concerning the tablet ever since it debuted at this year’s Mobile World Congress. The thing is, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 received a mixed bag of opinions from the general public and whilst the S Pen was a more than welcomed addition, the specs were not that promising compared to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
Fortunately it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 went under the radar for good reasons. On short, the tablet might’ve received a notable bump in terms of specs, and it now promises much more than what you’d get from a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Join us after the break.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Release Date: Early Summer? Quad Core Exynos Under The Hood ?
The good news is that allegedly, the dual-core 1.4 GHz processor initially fitted on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 might actually be replaced with a brand new quad-core Exynos 4412 chip. The news surfaced via a Korean newspaper which claims that Samsung intends to bump the processing power on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, which sounds great, but unfortunately there’s a downside as well.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Release Date
Samsung’s plans were to launch the Galaxy Note 10.1 a bit earlier during Q2, but as it turns out the changes in specs might push back the launch of the device until June.
Keep in mind that this isn’t actually really official, but if it turns out to be the real deal, I for one won’t complain. If you ask me, a one month delay or so for a much beefier processor on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a most welcomed compromise.
We’re not sure whether or not the Exynos processor will bring with it additional upgrades in other segments as well, but I must say the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has just become a much more interesting tablet.
We’ll keep you up to date as soon as we find out more on the matter but in the meantime feel free to drop us a line and let us know what you think. Would you rather go for an earlier launch and a less powerful processor, or would you accept a compromise in order to get a considerable upgrade in terms of specs?
Thanks PocketNow for the heads-up regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 release date and specs.
