Those of you who happen to own the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 now have yet another reason to celebrate this late in the year, as the carrier in question has recently launched a new update on the phablet, and as the title suggests, the new over the air release will bring the sought-after Multi Window feature to your device.
Join us after the break and we’ll get into a few extra details concerning the release of the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Multi Window update.
AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 – Multi Window Update
Galaxy Note 2 owners all around the world have been a bit disappointed by the fact that the handset in question has been released on the market without Multi Window, but the good news is that the disappointment didn’t last for long. The international model has received an update that included the app shortly after the launch of the device and multiple carriers around the world, including those in the US, have done the same during the past few months.
Now it’s AT&T’s turn to release an update containing Multi Window so in case you’re the proud owner of an AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy Note 2 make sure you head down to the Settings menu and see if the new update is waiting for you.
Also keep in mind that the package weighs about 178 MB and you’ll have to perform a reboot in order to be able and benefit from the true multitasking feature.
That’s pretty much all there is to it folks. It feels as if the update came a bit later than we would’ve liked but it could have been worse. Verizon’s Note 2 has been an exception to the rule and got launched with Multi Window out of the box, but in the end it didn’t go too well.
