Samsung enthusiasts who wish to buy the best smartphone(s) on the market as soon as they hit the shelves are able to do so either in the earlier part of the year, or sometime starting with late Q3 / early Q4. That’s usually when the majority of smartphone manufacturers are pumping out new high-end gadgets, and this year won’t be any different.

Right now, your best options are the Sony Xperia Z, the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the LG Optimus G Pro … just to name a few. But if you’re planning on waiting a few months before purchasing a brand new flagship, your options will change and should include the Optimus G2, a new Nexus device and perhaps even a beastly Sony camera-centric smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date and Specs

Leaks and rumors concerning Samsung’s upcoming phablet have assaulted the blogosphere during the past few months, so we have a pretty good idea on what to expect from the gadget.

Nonetheless, it’s always nice to get confirmation from various industry insiders, and today we’ll take a look at what these sources claim in regards to Note 3’s availability and specs.

The gadget has been “reconfirmed” for a launch in the second half of the year, most likely at the end of Q3 or the beginning of Q4. Spec-wise, the same sources have also further cemented the idea that the handset will indeed pack a full HD 5.99 inch Super AMOLED display and an Exynos 5 Octa processor under the hood.

So there you have it. The Note 3 will most likely rear its head during the IFA event in Berlin, packing the type of hardware that you’d expect. The biggest question however, is whether or not the Korean manufacturer will make any changes in terms of build quality and design. We’ll keep you posted.
