Samsung Galaxy Note Ice Cream Sandwich Teased By The Manufacturer (Android 4 ICS)

Unfortunately for every one of us waiting for an Ice Cream Sandwich on the Samsung Galaxy Note, the device in question pretty much follows in the footsteps of the other Galaxy handsets when it comes to receiving its share of OS updates.

Initially, the ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy Note was rumored to be released to the masses late Q1, alongside the ICS update for the Galaxy S2, but unfortunately Samsung announced that the update has been pushed back to Q2. On the other side, it will be accompanied by a Premium Suite which looks pretty good.

Fortunately though, the Samsung Galaxy Note ICS update seems to be on the right tracks as the Samsung Mobile USA Facebook page has recently posted a teaser picture depicting the Samsung Galaxy Note sporting the highly anticipated ICS Home screen.

As for availability, the launch day of the ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy Note still eludes us. Hopefully we’ll be able to hear more about the update in the following days and perhaps we’ll be able to finally update our Galaxy Note sometime earlier Q2.

Perhaps an official leak of the Android 4 OS will follow soon [Edit: Yep, it's already here] and we’ll be able to at least have a taste of the ICS goodness until the official release rolls out.

We’ll definitely keep an eye out for the Samsung Galaxy Note and its upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich and we’ll keep you posted as soon as the story develops.
