Once again we turn our attention towards the Samsung Galaxy Note at T-Mobile. As you may recall, initially we were hoping that the handset in question might land at Magenta’s stores on July 11th. Unfortunately not long ago we got word that the release date of the phablet might’ve suffered a push back.
Well, it now appears that not all hope is lost for a imminent launch, despite the fact that August 8th surfaced as a potential release date. Check back after the break for details.
T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Note Release Date
As it turns out, the guys over at TmoNews got their hands on a few pictures depicting some Galaxy Note accessories with T-Mobile branding on them.
So, what’s that have to do with the release date of the Note? The thing is, smartphone accessories usually arrive in stores before the launch of the actual device. Sometimes the period of time between the arrival of these accessories and the actual launch of the device is a few weeks, other times a few days.
That being said, there’s a small chance that the Galaxy Note might hit the stores in July. However, it’s only just a small possibility so take it with a grain of salt.
But, even if the phablet will hit the shelves in August, these accessories are a good indicator that the device is indeed getting closer to its release date.
Furthermore, on the “good news” page, according to the guys over at TmoNews the Galaxy Note will arrive at T-Mobile with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and HSPA+ 42Mbps radio inside.
We’re definitely going to keep a close eye on Magenta and the Note, so stay tuned!
Thanks TmoNews for the heads-up regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note at T-Moblie.
