As you might be aware of, we’ve recently explored the idea of a Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note release and on short, we (and a lot of our readers) have been quite excited by this idea as it built up in our heads.
Nevertheless, it’s just a minor possibility that this will happen, but it would be a very welcomed addition in Sprint’s ever growing portfolio of devices.
Although the idea of a Sprint Galaxy Note is currently “on-hold” as no new information surfaced regarding the matter, it appears that T-Mobile is now the center of attention as a rumor surfaced via some screenshots, indicating that a Samsung Galaxy Note release at T-Mobile could happen in the near future. Join us after the break for more.
Samsung Galaxy Note at T-Mobile
Supposedly, the above screenshot comes from a T-Mobile Galaxy Note testing handset and indicates that this particular unit dubbed SGH-T879 runs on Android 4.0.3. The idea behind the statement that what you’re looking at might be a T-Mobile Galaxy Note comes from its build number (IML74K) which corresponds with AT&T’s Galaxy Note.
Whether or not this really is taken off of a T-Mobile Galaxy Note is uncertain so take this rumor with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, a T-Mobile Galaxy Note does sound interesting and in all fairness, it should be to their advantage if Samsung widens their horizon and releases the Samsung Galaxy Note on a larger number of carriers.
We’ll keep you up to date as soon as the story develops, if it’ll develop further. We sure hope so and we’ll keep an eye out for a possible Samsung Galaxy Note at T-Mobile. In the meantime feel free to share your thoughts and let us know whether or not you would be willing to buy a Galaxy Note from T-Mobile.
Thanks PocketNow for the heads-up regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note at T-Mobile.
