Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE at Boost Mobile (Release Date and Other Details)

Samsung Galaxy S4 may be in the center of attention right now, but Sammy’s last year flagship (and 2012′s phone of the year), the Galaxy S3, is still a great device and there are plenty of people who don’t need (or afford) the latest and greatest and would rather buy an SGS3 at a discounted price.

While the aforementioned handset has been released at a wide number of carriers, Boost Mobile did not offer its customers, until recently, the option of purchasing the S3. Fortunately, the situation has changed as Boost Mobile has welcomed the LTE version of the Galaxy S3 to its line-up. More details below.

Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE at Boost Mobile

Great news for those of you planning to score a cheap Galaxy S3, as Boost Mobile is now offering (since yesterday, June 12th) the LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 for purchase.

With the not too steep price tag of $399.99, off-contract (the SGS3 was initially sold for $600 contract-free), the smartphone operates on Sprint’s growing 4G LTE network and enjoys LTE coverage in 88 markets. Unfortunately, users roaming outside of the LTE coverage area will be limited to EvDo 3G.

In terms of specs and features, Boost Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S3 is the same 4.8-inch smartphone that we know and love. It’s powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM, Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and an 8MP rear-facing camera.

Are you interested in getting your hands on this device or you’d rather purchase a newer handset?
