We pretty much got to the point where it’s not fun to dig into rumors anymore and we’re starting to be more and more anxious about an official announcement concerning the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date
There are so many rumors out there (concerning the Galaxy S3 launch) that it can become frustrating and/or confusing (did you know that an April S3 release date is back on the table ?). However, the one that makes the most sense tells us that the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date might be scheduled for sometime in late summer/early autumn (hit the link for more info).
Nevertheless, despite the fact that there are so many rumors already which surround the upcoming unannounced next-gen Galaxy smartphone, there is a new one that caught us by surprise and managed to steal our attention: Samsung Galaxy S3 might come straight out of the box with wireless charging capabilities.
Samsung Galaxy S3 To Come With Wireless Charging ? Release Date: Late Summer/ Early Autumn (Rumored)
The rumor has been spread out by the Korean website DDaily, where they’ve said that they have strong reasons to believe that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will benefit from the wireless charging technology. Furthermore, what makes this even more interesting is the fact that Samsung has supposedly stepped the wireless charging technology up a notch and whereas current devices require to touch the surface of the charging pad in order to actually charge, the newly developed Samsung technology will allow the Samsung Galaxy S3 to be wirelessly charged at up to two meters distance from the charging pad.
We’re not really sure what to make of this, but at this stage it all sounds quite rad! If Samsung truly developed such technology and if it can be implemented on the upcoming Galaxy S3, then we’re bound to see more handsets featuring wireless charging in the future. Of course, it’s premature to talk about whether or not the technology is going to be a door opener or a gimmick, because to put it bluntly, we’re not sure whether or not all of this is actually true.
Yet again we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled and wait for the next rumor which might shed some light on this matter, or wait and see how the rumor dies altogether. We’ll keep you up to date as the story develops. In the meantime feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
