There is no denying it: alongside Apple’s iPhone 5 the Samsung Galaxy S3 is what everybody is talking about, even though we know next to nothing about them. If a few days ago we talked about Samsung Galaxy S3’s possible US branding now it’s time to talk, again, about the potential Galaxy S3 release date as we’ve heard some new things (nope, sadly nothing official). Let’s get it on.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date
Eldar Murtazin, the man responsible for many confirmed rumors (EDITOR: and many unconfirmed as well TBH), has announced a while back that the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date is scheduled for sometime during April (myth that has been officially shot down by Samsung themselves).
However, now Mr. Murtazin is back with new info, only this time he’s not offering an exact Galaxy S3 release date (not even a time-window). He claims that Galaxy S3 has been finalized and that the handset is ready to enter manufacturing.
We heard earlier that the Samsung Galaxy S3 release was still under review and one rumor even claimed that the follow up to the S2 would arrive on March 13. We now know for a fact that’s not the case. The biggest step forward was the summer/ early autumn release for the Galaxy S3 (this rumor makes the most sense for us).
After some new leaked specs for the Samsung Galaxy S3, Eldar Murtazin went ahead and announced some of the rumored specifications. According to him the Galaxy S3 is coming with a quad-core Exynos processor, a 4.8-inch HD display and running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
The Galaxy S3 will also allegedly come with a ceramic casing, something rumored earlier as well. The best news is obviously in relation to the display, as an earlier rumor claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S3 would come with a low-resolution display.
Our friendly neighborhood insider continues saying that the Samsung Galaxy S3 pre-orders are at an all-time high for the Galaxy lineup. Retailers and carriers alike are fighting to put down as many orders as possible. Being one of the best-sold devices on the planet, the Galaxy S2 paved the way for its larger follow-up.
After so many rumors surrounding the Galaxy S3 release date, which might come during summer sometime, I can’t wait to get the official word from Samsung. What about you?
