Yeah Samsung Galaxy S2 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus are great smartphones but they are the present (some would even say that the S2 is slipping slowly into the past). Samsung Galaxy S3 on the other hand represents the future and it might be the trendsetter for what’s to come (unless HTC Edge will have something to say about it, and if HTC’s device will get released sooner than S3).
A lot of Samsung and Android fans are anxious to see the Galaxy S3 in their hands even tough the device hasn’t been yet announced and we know next to nothing about it. Thus the interest in Sammy’s upcoming handset has peaked and the rumor mill (especially the part responsible for the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date) can’t seem to be able to slow down.

The above being said, it’s time for yet another Samsung Galaxy S3 release date rumor. This time, this year’s most anticipated phone from Samsung is said to be coming pretty damn soon. According to the latest rumor, March 13th is the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date, which is said to take place in Turkey.

Now, we definitely would like to believe that the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date would happen in March, we really do. But let’s face the facts for a moment: Samsung didn’t offer any info regarding the Samsung Galaxy S3. Sure, we hoped that the Mobile World Congress will bring some official info but it looks like the device will skip this year’s event as Samsung is currently reviewing launch and release date options.
This doesn’t mean that the rumor of the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date happening in March is fake/inaccurate right off the bat (maybe they have decided already, even though the above news is really recent). It’s just highly unlikely (remember that the Samsung Galaxy S3 was also said to be released in April or during the Olympics). Only time will tell. As far as the technical specs go, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is rumored to come with a quad-core processor, 3D screen and a 12 MP camera among others. We even thought that Samsung teased the S3 during CES.
