It surely didn’t take long. Merely a few hours after the Unpacked event, a rather large number of carriers have rushed in to make their announcements regarding the Galaxy S4’s availability. Up in Canada, we have Rogers, Bell and TELUS that have stepped forward and announced via their individual Twitter accounts that the S4 will hit the shelves in full force.
Although no exact release date has been given, Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy S4 will start hitting the market next month. Hopefully, Rogers, Bell and TELUS will deliver the handset within the same time frame. We’ll definitely keep you posted on that one, so stay tuned for more information.
As to what you can expect from the Galaxy S4, well, assuming that you’ve missed the live Unpacked event then what you’ll get is a 5 inch 1080p display, an Exynos 5 Octa or a Snapdragon CPU (depending on the model), 2 GB of RAM, 16 / 32 / 64 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD, a 2,600 mAh battery, Android 4.2.2 out of the box and a ton of interesting software features that will definitely keep you busy.
