We’re nearing the end of the year, but the industry still has a few devices to offer us by the end of December. A couple of days ago we’ve fount out that the VIVO Xplay 3S will be officially announced on the 18th day of the month, and today we’ve learned that the aforementioned device is not the only one to get its time on stage by the time we’ll take our first steps into 2014. Apparently, Huawei has also started to send out press invites for its own event which will supposedly take place on December 16. At that time, the Huawei Glory 4 Honor 4 is expected to be unveiled.
The Glory 4 (also known as the Honor 4, depending on the market) has been leaked numerous times before, but now that the device is more or less official, the time for leaks is about to end. Check back after the break and learn the details.
Huawei Glory 4 / Honor 4 Unveiling
Judging by the image above, Huawei will unveil the “Honor” / Glory 4 on December 16. We’re unsure when the device will actually hit the market, but what we’ve learned so far is that the device boasts a true Octa-Core processor.
Huawei teamed up with MediaTek equipped the device with the manufacturer’s MT6592 chip. As most of you know, the processor delivers 8 cores that work simultaneously, and a frequency of 1.7 GHz.
Aside from the SoC, the Huawei Glory 4 will allegedly offer 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 13 MP main camera complemented by a 5 MP front-facing sensor, and Android 4.2.2 out of the box. The screen measures 5.5 inches and delivers a somewhat underwhelming resolution of 720 x 1280.
