Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be all about Ezio’s last adventure, one meant to uncover the mysteries Altair left unsolved ( or should i say behind ). But his quest soon turns into a hunt, as he must find the keys that unlock the hidden library before the Templars do it.
The action of the game takes place in 16th century Constantinople, so my guess is that the map will be immense and will feature a very interesting environment. The Assassin’s Creed: Revelation gameplay video we’re going to talk about today is taken from a single-player mission found half-way thruough the game, in which Ezio wants to grab the last key he needs. To make this more exciting, the key must be taken from one of the leading Templars, and for that he must leave Constantinople and go to a Templar stronghold.
Take a look at the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations gameplay video below, and be sure to also check out the first trailer presented at E3 :
Innovations have been brought to the weapons department, as we can see Ezio using an ancient frag-grenade to demolish the huge chain that keeps his boat stranded in Constantinople. Another cool feature is the smokebomb, that blinds your enemies and allows you to eliminate them stealthily by using Ezio’s new ability. But the most interesting weapon added is the hookblade, being described as the “most dynamic and versatile weapon to date“. You can use it for transport when gliding ropes and for giving the bad guys a really hard time.
Personally, I think the game is simply amazing, and can’t wait to play it. The Assassin’s Creed: Revelations release date is scheduled for November 15th. The game will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
