It seems like DICE has made a habit of releasing Bad Company 2: Vietnam Trailers quite often, and the community couldn’t be more happy about it.
If the last Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam Trailer showed the US forces attacking the Vietnamese village of Phu Bai, this new one focuses on the mayhem a flamethrower ( either infantry manned or tank-attached ) can unleash.

As some of you probably remember, in 2004 DICE released a game that was taking place in the same location and the same time period as Bad Company 2: Vietnam – we’re, of course, talking about Battlefield: Vietnam.
In an interview with Game Informer, DICE executive producer Patrick Bach said that, even though Bad Company 2: Vietnam isn’t a remake of the older Vietnam game, there are a few elements that the team took from it and implemented in Bad Company 2: Vietnam. The examples Patrick gave are the fact that you can listen to propaganda speakers and also to over 2 hours of 60s soundtrack ( via the radio available in Bad Company 2: Vietnam’s vehicles ).
Some of the things present in Battlefield: Vietnam that won’t show up in Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam are the punji stick booby traps and the ability to transport tanks around the battlefield, with the help of a helicopter. Dommage !

Bad Company 2: Vietnam Trailer Shows The Flamethrower In Action
The Vietnam Multiplayer Expansion Pack will bring 4 new multiplayer maps, 6 vehicles, 15 weapons taken straight from the Vietnam War, and over 2 hours of 60s and 70s inspired soundtrack.
The Bad Company 2: Vietnam release date hasn’t been announced yet ( the official word is “Winter 2010” ). This Battlefield Bad Company 2 DLC will be priced at $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points.
Thanks Joystiq for spreading the word about this new Bad Company 2: Vietnam Trailer.
