This year around E3 was indeed the breeding ground for some of the most anticipated series sequels in recent years. With Mass Effect 3 getting some kick ass trailers and with The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim getting some real nifty gameplay into its trailer, it’s time for another franchise to tooth its own horn – Halo.
The Halo 4 release date is scheduled for the end of next year with the first cinematic trailer being already released at E3 showing off Master Chief being awakened from a cryo-sleep. We’re also getting a few glimpses of Cortana, the AI companion as well. The Halo 4 trailer showcases Master Chief’s ship slowly but surely exploding while heading towards a much larger space craft. It seems that after the end of the last trilogy Microsoft is setting up the basis for a new one, so grab on to your helmets because this will be getting bumpy.
