HTC Pyramid Rumored Specs: Dual Core CPU – May Release Date ?
Yes my friends, I have The News for you, that great piece of news I know ya’ll been waiting for: T-Mobile will release a new astonishing Android phone codenamed HTC Pyramid. They are keeping the secret very well hidden, but I have done some digging and here’s what I’ve come up with.
The rumor has spread instantly, since it seems that the HTC Pyramid specs are bound to make the Pharaohs proud!
That is of course because of its 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 processor, which seems to offer at least some of the fancy specs MSM8x60 has provided us so far. I think you’ll also be pretty excited to find out about the HD video recording and playback capabilities ( of 1080p, up to 30 frames per second ), the Adreno 220 GPU and the support for HSPA+ networks which is expected to give us a proper perspective of what we should ask for from 4G mobile technology.
Other HTC Pyramid specs we shouldn’t forget are the 16-megapixel camera and the 4.3 inch ( 960 x 540 ) qHD screen ( qHD as in Motorola Atrix 4G’s screen ).
Well, now comes the saddest part: as much as I would love to show you some photos or give you more details about what else the HTC Pyramid can do, unfortunately, I can’t do any of that. Even the real name is a complete mystery but, like I said earlier, its codename matches perfectly the impression is going to make on you.
Another question for which i haven’t found yet an answer is regarding the HTC Pyramid release date. Checking the same generous sources, I heard that most likely T-Mobile should fill us in at the Mobile World Congress 2011 ( 14-17th of February ). And if not MWC, then the March CTIA Conference should be the next best bet.
Until some official info regarding the HTC Pyramid release date will drop to tell us otherwise, we’ll be expecting the phone to hit shelves sometime in Q2 2011 ( the month of May has been rumored so far ).
Thanks TMONews for letting us know about the promising HTC Pyramid.
